Background information:
Kickstart Community Programmes Ltd is a voluntary organisation with
charitable status. The programme was established in 1995 and has
evolved from what was originally a drop in centre to the structured
day care provision it is today. We have supported and worked with
over eight thousand people to date locally in and around Sheffield
and up and down the country. Over that time, we have raised over
£1.4 million to fund the project until becoming statutorily funded
through Sheffield pooled budget monies in April 2002.
